  16. johnnymassacre says:

@fallinawayfromcali12 I would like to see evidence on this claim that crime went up by 300% I don’t think that is true.

Honestly, this debate has happened before, and I think all the insights and studies into things like this are inconclusive. There is no conclusive proof that music or video games, etc. make people violent.

The reason the labels promote violence and drugs is because it’s controversial and sells. And you always hear positive mainstream music; Adele, etc (I hate her).

  17. fallinawayfromcali12 says:

@johnnymassacre Then how come crime went up in L.A. 300% after NWA released their album “Fuck the Police”? Yes people are murderous, but music like this is what would put them in the mood. And of course major labels do it for money, that’s the primary reason. But why is it that all the popular mainstream music promotes negativity, such as violence and drugs? You don’t hear mainstream music talking about loving one another & helping out others.

@Scpa10 You do realise Dr. Dre fully supported Eminem and made him into what he is today? And if you support Dre, you also support Eminem because Em was Dre’s most successful project that he put all his faith into. And also Eminem rejuvinated Dr. Dre’s career back in early 2000 with guest features.
