HHHAHHAHAHAHAHA i got the move!!!! gimme a PRIZE!!!
but, no, seriously, i did get the meove cause i DID SEE the weak pawn and wen he does that fischer moves the knight to the weak pawn to fork the queen and the rook and fyi the last part i typed was a guess so tell me if im right
@DrPepperPower87 What I said to tonyt3htiger.
@tonyt3htiger If the queen takes knight on c3 then the black queen can easily take the bishop on c5. If white retakes with pawn takes queen c5 then the bishop from g7 can capture the queen on c3.
Time Restraints?
@tonyt3htiger He thought that time that taking out the queen would be better. Turns out it wasn’t :/
@yeubongda07 Maybe, but Fisher’s pawns on b5 and c6 served as an excellent shield because they worked together with the bishops. Which essentially prevented the white queen from reaching the a file.
@TheFearUnlimited What are you talking about? That would have put Fisher’s king in check. Plus, black started at the top of the board, so his pawn can’t move backwards to promote it to a queen lol.
@TheFearUnlimited
obviously the concept of a pin is not apparent to you.
At 21:18 why doesn’t black win a queen with Bd6?
@awash223 lol i was wondering if they watched it aswell lol
@tonyt3htiger @DrPepperPower87 lol did you even watch the video?? 14:21
@tonyt3htiger Yeah, that’s exactly what I wondered. Is anybody here who has an answer?
3:45 why didn’t black move his b7 pawn to b5?
at 16:24 why doesnt white queen take out black knight at C3
In my opinion, at 22:49, black should move a2 to a1, which force the king to h2, then move the bishop to d6, which, I think, could end the game faster. Very good game though
why didn’t bishop take rook, e7 to f8?
@berberic oubs i meant queen on b5 instead of b4. or maybe knight on b5? but i dont see something good for that knight move. i would bet on queen on b5.
helo chesswebsite and chesscomunity. i have no chessengine yet so i cant figure it out myself. But what would be the plan for black if white, instead of taking the queen on b6, took the bishop on e6. would have been the plan queen on b4? regaining material by checkmate threating?
Good analysis of a historic game. However, anyone else notice how he calls Donald Byrne simply by his last name, “Byrne”, yet he says Bobby Fischer’s name in full *every single time*? Damn.
21:16 16:25
What if white played Bxe6 instead of Bxb6 at 16.25, I think this will be the best move…. Any way, all will look at capturing the big and strong piece, QUEEN, at that situation, so may be the white have hesitated and so trapped. But, he should keep in mind that he is Bobby Fisher.
@buckmajor
Really 2000? Im not even rated cause I dont play chess seriously but for fun and
I can see that the black bishop can’t check the king because it’s being pinned by
the white queen!!!!!!!! 2000 rating???? My ass!!! lol even on pause you can’t see
it. You are hopeless. lol Please stop boosting your stupid rating lol. You mock
yourself lol. sorry had to say it cause I hate showoffs lol =p
Bobby Fisher is ALWAYS written first regardless of whether he plays white or black
@TheSataraid oh man my post looks like Im an idiot now. I stopped the video when the narrarator was wondering about the bishop move.
I can see what Byrne was upto with Bg5 his next move would of been e4e5 attacking the Knight Fischer moves the knight and Be7 forking the Queen & Rook. Since Bobby had the move of the century we didnt get to see it.
