Posted by lunatic On May - 3 - 2011

JM

James Mark Ent. is a fast rising and on the move entertainment outlet which is currently seeing success with its latest single, “Batter Up” by Class A featuring Young Money artist Lil Chuckee.  Currently #3 in the nation on the urban indie charts, that puts the song and record label in the same category and discussion with elite industry performers including Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, DJ Drama, Roscoe Dash, Tony Yayo and more.

The video for “Batter Up” is being shot in Miami shortly and will be released on hundreds of media outlets in the near future. James Mark is also currently working with Jae Millz of Lil Wayne’s Young Money.

A triple threat, James Mark Ent. is also home to JM Magazine, where this month’s cover holds a spot for the beautiful swimwear goddess Jessica Burciaga. A former Playmate of the Month [Playboy], and recently seen as the star in Jamie Foxx’s and Drake’s “Fall for your Type” music video, there is plenty to admire on this month’s cover of JM Magazine.

With summer quickly approaching, JM Magazine has plenty of other eye candy featured in the issue, as well as there inside story on the 5 best beach albums.

In the meantime, continue requesting “Batter Up” on your local radio stations.

FaceOff

May 1st, 2011 (Los Angeles, CA) — Female Emcee and Songwriter Miss Marianna releases mixtape entitled “Face Off” with Da Hitman, Dallas’ own world renowned DJ and Music Director at Swurv Radio.
According to Miss Marianna, this mixtape project is “a culmination of various styles and rhyme cadences,” as she goes on to explain, “I got tired of everyone assuming I had to be in a box.” Miss Marianna has generated the interest of DJ’s and listeners worldwide since the release of her last single “Flippin & Foldin”. The new mixtape includes songs “Boogie“ produced by Johnny Juliano, “Leh Go” produced by Yoshiggedy, and “Vroom Vroom”, Mims featuring Miss Marianna. She’s been in heavy rotation on several stations and in the mix with International DJ’s as well as multiple mixtape features and interviews.

Miss Marianna jokingly references her multiple personalities as a driving force behind the “Face Off” mixtape project: “I’ve finally embraced all of me as an emcee…the good, the bad, the ugly, and the genius. I’m not concerned with being stuck on one vibe all the time that’s just not how life is…as a woman I have different faces and roles…I’m just not one thing.” On any given day you might meet The New World Daughter, the in-your-face Black Superhero, or MariMoolah, on the hustle as a business woman. If your lucky there’s TippyPaw, the mysterious assertive lioness, or MariPoppins with the lyrical shake down groove.
Make sure you Check Out the “Face Off” mixtape on DatPiff, Coast2Coast, and ThatCrack where you can decide for yourself who is your favorite Style Of Emcee.

The new mixtape “Face Off” is sure to leave the world wondering…just exactly…who is Miss Marianna?

G-No Interview & “Bye Bye” Song

Posted by lunatic On May - 1 - 2011

GNo

We hooked up with brand new buzzing artist G-No to discuss a number of things. Touching on many interesting topics, we discuss G-No’s early life as he was born in San Bernardino County, California. Moving around the west coast a lot, G-No made a move down south to New Orleans before permanently relocating to Las Vegas where he currently is today.

Moving all over the place from the west coast to down south, we talk about what sort of affect that had on G-No as a person and from a musical standpoint. Discussing his influences provides for an exciting conversation as G-No is still building his fan base, although already buzzing with his “Bye Bye” single (can be heard here http://hulkshare.com/ifet2t8pjgch),  we get to see which artists mentally prepared him for his relationship with music.

We also discuss his personal comparisons, Wiz Khalifa, from jail to freedom and more.

Enjoy.
